’Tis the season of giving. As the year comes to an end, the Maven Collective team takes time to give back by donating 1% of our revenue to causes we care deeply about, while reflecting on the volunteering efforts we’ve been part of throughout the year. Giving back, whether through donations or by offering our time and skills, has always been part of who we are.
This year, however, feels especially meaningful as we celebrate a major milestone: officially becoming a B Corp certified company!

Who We're Paying it Forward to in 2025
Here are the causes the Maven Collective team chose to support this year.
100 Women Who Care
100 Women Who Care brings women together to support local charities through collective giving. By pooling donations, they turn small acts of generosity into meaningful support for causes close to home.
BC Cancer Foundation
The BC Cancer Foundation funds cancer research, treatment, and patient care across British Columbia. By supporting breakthroughs in cancer research, they help patients and families navigate diagnosis, treatment, and recovery with greater hope.
Canadian Red Cross
The Canadian Red Cross provides critical support to people affected by emergencies and disasters. Their work helps individuals and families find safety, care, and hope during times of crisis.
Doctors Without Borders
Doctors Without Borders delivers medical care to people in conflict zones and underserved regions. Their teams provide life-saving treatment in places where access to healthcare is limited or nonexistent.
Easter Seals
Easter Seals supports children, youth, and adults with disabilities by providing programs, services, and essential equipment. Their work helps create opportunities for greater independence, confidence, and inclusion.
Fistula Foundation
The Fistula Foundation supports women suffering from obstetric fistula by making life-changing surgeries and care accessible. Through treatment and recovery support, women can heal and return to their daily life healthy.
Give a Mile
Give a Mile helps reconnect loved ones during times of illness by providing flights to people facing critical or end-of-life situations. By removing the financial barriers to travel, they ensure families can be together during life’s most difficult moments.
Guru Nanak's Love All & Feed All
Guru Nanak’s Love All & Feed All offers free meals to anyone in need, guided by values of equality and service. Their work ensures that everyone is welcomed, fed, and cared for without judgment.
Huntington’s Disease Society of America
The Huntington’s Disease Society of America supports families affected by Huntington’s disease through research funding, education, and community programs. Their work advances care while offering vital support to those navigating this complex condition.
MS Bike Chilliwack
MS Bike Chilliwack brings the community together to raise funds for people living with multiple sclerosis. Through cycling events, they support research and programs that improve quality of life.
PearlSpace
PearlSpace creates safe and welcoming spaces that encourage healing, connection, and personal growth for women, Two Spirit, gender-diverse, non-binary, trans people, and children. Their work focuses on building community and supporting individuals through care-centered initiatives.
Plan International
Plan International works around the world to support children’s rights and create brighter futures for girls. Through education, healthcare, and protection programs, they help children grow up safe and supported.
Planned Parenthood
Planned Parenthood provides trusted reproductive healthcare, education, and support. Their work helps individuals make informed choices about their bodies and their futures with dignity and care.
Ronald McDonald House
Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for families with children receiving medical care. Their spaces offer comfort, stability, and support during incredibly difficult times.
Save the Children
Save the Children supports children and families through education, healthcare, and emergency relief. Their work helps ensure children have what they need to survive, grow, and thrive.
Save the Children's Gaza Relief
Save the Children’s Gaza Relief efforts deliver urgent healthcare, food, and protection to children affected by conflict. These programs focus on keeping children safe and supported amid ongoing instability and humanitarian need.
Sea to Sky Hospice Society
Sea to Sky Hospice Society offers compassionate end-of-life care and grief support to individuals and families. Their presence brings steadiness and kindness to moments that ask for patience, empathy, and deep care.
Squamish Helping Hands
Squamish Helping Hands supports people in Squamish who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness by providing food, shelter, and steady support. Their work centers on dignity, compassion, and helping individuals find stability and a way forward.
Squamish Volunteer Centre Society
The Squamish Volunteer Centre Society connects people with opportunities to give back locally. Their work helps build stronger community ties by matching time, skills, and care with organizations that need support.
Tantalus Wellspring Society
Tantalus Wellspring Society offers accessible mental health and wellness support to the Sea to Sky community. Through compassionate care and counselling, they help people feel supported during some of life’s most challenging moments.
Terry Fox Foundation
The Terry Fox Foundation funds cancer research in honor of Terry Fox’s legacy. Their work continues his mission to bring hope, progress, and better outcomes to those affected by cancer.
UNHCR - Sudan Relief
UNHCR provides support to refugees and displaced families impacted by the crisis in Sudan. From emergency shelter to essential services, they help people find safety and stability after being forced from their homes.
United24
United24 supports humanitarian and rebuilding efforts in Ukraine. Their work provides vital aid while helping communities recover, rebuild, and move forward amidst the ongoing conflict.
World Central Kitchen
World Central Kitchen provides fresh meals to communities facing crisis and disaster. By working alongside local cooks, they turn food into an immediate source of relief and human connection.
YWCA
YWCA supports women, girls, and gender-diverse people through housing, education, and essential services. Their work helps create safer spaces and opportunities for individuals to get back up on their feet.
Volunteering in Our Community
Beyond donations, we also continued our tradition of giving back to our community through volunteering.
Creating Essential Kits for YWCA
This year, our team came together to assemble essential kits for women supported by YWCA. Each kit included everyday necessities that many of us take for granted, offering practical support to women experiencing homelessness or living on low incomes.
Serving Breakfast at YWCA
Our team also spent time at YWCA Vancouver preparing and serving breakfast for community members. Sharing a meal allowed us to connect, listen, and support in a way that felt personal and grounding. It was a reminder that something as simple as a warm meal can create comfort and a sense of belonging.
Paying It Forward as a B Corp
As we look back on this year, we’re grateful for the chance to support the causes and communities that mean the most to us. Becoming a B Corp has made this commitment feel even more intentional, and we’re excited to keep building on it in the year ahead.
