We’re incredibly excited and humbled to announce that our Principal & Founder, Erica Hakonson, has been awarded the Editor’s Choice Award at the inaugural CanadianSME National Business Awards.
If you’ve never heard of the CanadianSME awards, it’s probably because 2019 is their inaugural year. Held by CanadianSME Business magazine – Canada’s leading magazine for small to mid-sized companies – CanadianSME National Business Awards Awards were designed to recognize and applaud the contribution that small business owners provide for Canada’s economy. The SME industry plays a crucial role in Canada’s economy, they want to support and recognize the entrepreneurs who work hard in making their small business a success.
A Business Awards Evening to Remember
The awards were handed out on January 28, 2020, at The Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Hakonson was chosen as a finalist in two categories: ‘Technopreneur of the Year’ and ‘Business Woman of the Year’, by a panel of judges who represent an extensive range of experience and industry expertise.
Erica was honored early on in the evening when she received her Editor’s Choice Award from SK Uddin, the Editor of Canadian SME Magazine.
